Astronomers used the NGC 2936 is likely a normal spiral galaxy -- spinning, creating stars ..... This Hubble Space Telescope view shows one of the most dynamic and intricately detailed star-forming regions in space, located 210,000 light-years away in the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC), a satellite galaxy of our Milky Way. This artists’s cartoon view gives an impression of how common planets are around the stars in the Milky Way. The planets, their orbits and their host stars are all vastly magnified compared to their real separations. This illustration compares the atmospheres of two 'hot Jupiter'-class exoplanets orbiting very closely to different sunlike stars. The planets are too far away for the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope to resolve any details. This is the first in a sequence of four pictures from the NASA
